See any changes?
One year has brought so many!
For the past three years of my life, a significant event in the month of August has changed the course of the next year. Being conscious of this, I have been able to live more productively, each year growing as a spiritual being and moving towards the path that the universe has supplied for me.
Looking back a year ago, I see this picture and almost dont recognize myself. I have completely changed my lifestyle since then. The most dominant change that you may observe is that I have seemingly shrunk in size. I have lost 40 pounds due to my change in diet and increasing amounts of exercise. I am now 100% Vegetarian, consuming only MINIMAL amounts of dairy products. I am pushing the line of being Vegan, but I can’t let go of honey! This diet has opened up my eyes so much to the world around me and the habits which we as humans are stuck in when it comes to consumption. I can now think much clearer, enjoy the benefits of increased energy and have an overall sense of extreme well being.
In the past year I have also had the chance to practice the art of Yoga. I have been stretching now for almost a full year and it has helped me reach my weight and fitness goals with a new found spiritual sense of adventure. Never before have I been so intrigued with a practice such as yoga. I have even started my own Yoga blog by the name of ‘Omazing Yoga’ in which I pour positive energy into when I find the free time. Among yoga I have also started cycling [nearly 100 miles weekly] and rock climbing at a local gym.
I would personally like to thank my family, my friends who have been like brothers to me, VersaEmerge for changing my life completely, music for always being a staple in my life, the veg lifestyle for giving me renewed energy, the yogi lifestyle for reducing my anxiety and allowing me to see the positive and happiness in the world.
One year from today, where will I be? Where will you be?
