"I'm just like you..."

Hello World!
I am proud to announce The Undesigned’s first official project featuring a collaboration with our good friends, There for Tomorrow!
Taken from The Undesigned’s blog:

Hello World!
On behalf of myself, James Lano, and my partner and good friend Gage Young, I present to you The Undesigned’s first creative project. On behalf of Hopeless Records, in collaboration with The Undesigned, we proudly present to you, Orlando’s very own There for Tomorrow.
For nearly three years, Gage and I have been working closely with the guys in There for Tomorrow. Some of our earliest, even first, projects were in collaboration with each other, so we felt as though it would be appropriate to follow suit and continue to collaborate with this as our first project.
With the changing season, and also the band’s departure across the country on this year’s Take Action Tour, we came to the agreement that it was time for a complete online makeover for the band. Upon meeting with the guys, ideas were tossed across the board which would end up with a vision that could only best be described as ‘classy’ and ‘clean’. Keeping in mind the group’s strong sense of hometown Orlando pride, we set out for prime locations that would set the project apart from any other, places that captured the essence of the city. We decided on two prime locations, a dock on the serene Sand Lake overlooking a scenic view of downtown Orlando, and also the Mall at Millenia, which afterhours, turns into an infinite playground of photo opportunity.
We are very excited to release these photos and also a brand new Myspace layout, as well as an upcoming website for therefortomorrow.com. This has been a long month of progress and we are very stoked to finally release all of this work. Stay tuned for more updates from The Undesigned and There for Tomorrow.
A huge thanks to Hopeless Records for working with us on this project, it’s always a pleasure to work with you!
Also a huge thank you to Max Stevens of Nidus Expire, and also Max Schwartz for your assistance. All makeup done by the lovely Kayleigh Hayes
The possibilities are infinite, stay tuned.-James Lano

January 1st 2010 marks the start of my fourth year as a freelance designer. I think under normal circumstances and a very old world way of thinking, this would be the appropriate time to recollect my experiences in a semi-sappy overemotional blog that has nothing to do with the progress of my work. Although I am very grateful for my experiences and the people who have shaped my world along with them, I feel as though at this point in time my only concern is the present moment.
The year 2010 begins a point in time marked by greater restraint and compassion for the good of mankind. We are in the midst of creating new habits and practices to bring about the new shift in consciousness. This begins with the world we design for ourselves.
As a designer, I feel solely responsible for creating the world that we evolve in. With this great responsibility comes the satisfaction of knowing that my inspired vision has helped shape a more positive world.
To start fresh for a new decade, I formulated a concept in order to stretch my visions across all the world’s stage. I have never been confident putting my brand aside and putting all of my energy into a project under a new alias, let alone putting my trust in someone else to share my vision, until now.
Branding this new company with the symbol for Infinity, I intend on this adventure to be limitless and beyond any type of boundaries. Our shared vision is inspired by a designers seemingly ‘effortless’ ability to make something extremely complicated look simple and almost as if it were not designed at all.
As of January 1st 2010, I am proud to announce, in partnership with close friend Gage Young, The Undesigned, a movement of inspired thought through creative direction; a larger than life endeavor to seek out large-scale creative projects in order to inspire the world. With agency representation provided by JJ Cassiere of The Kirby Organization [tkoco.com], Gage and I collectively plan to provide our creative services to a much larger audience than we have been focusing on thus far in our careers. Our goal is to provide our clients with the creative vision that is sometimes hard to come by when attempting to release any type of project.
In addition to our creative endeavors, we will also be releasing a line of LIMITED edition apparel. Details to follow this spring.
The official press release will be announced early this January; we appreciate all the effort that any of you have made already in order to get this off the ground.
With all of this being said, here’s to 2010. At this point in time I feel invincible and have no idea where this year may take me. Expect the unimagined, the undesigned…
Peace & Love [STAY POSITIVE]
